We are seeking a motivated student for a fully funded M.Sc. position to investigate the mechanistic roles of a specific diet in the prevention and treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Applicants should have a strong academic background and a passion for this research area. The successful candidate will receive training in nutritional biochemistry and gain experience in gut microbiome as well as liquid and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry-based metabolomics.
Program Highlights:
M.Sc. 2-year thesis-based program
Focus Research Area: Nutrition, metabolomics, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
Stipend: A stipend of $18,000/yr for 2 years.

TRIANGLE Undergraduate Summer Studentship 2024
We are excited to announce an upcoming opportunity for undergraduate students interested in advancing their knowledge and skills in nutritional biochemistry. My lab is seeking a TRIANGLE summer studentship program, running from May 6, 2024, to August 23, 2024.
Program Highlights:
Duration: May 6, 2024, to August 23, 2024
Focus Area: Nutritional biochemistry with an emphasis on metabolomics and microbial assays.
Stipend: A stipend of $6,000 will be awarded to the selected student for the program duration.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a Canadian citizen.
Must be enrolled in the second year or higher of an undergraduate program.
